I never imagined I would see the day when change seems possible. It is time for us to disconnect from learning through the internet and start learning internally from ourselves. There is still a force that exists to continue the divide. If you do know someone who is a person of colour, have a conversation with them. It will change how you look at things. That is what we can continue to do to make it a real-life thing as opposed to an internet thing. This is about the people sitting at our kitchen table, and our next-door neighbour and every person we meet in a restaurant or on the street.

As we’re being awakened to these realities, consider what you have done or haven’t done, and then begin to take active steps to change yourself. Change your character, attitude and develop a new way of thinking towards these issues and then help others do the same. When you begin to act that’s when it becomes love, and love is the more productive route to take.
